Week 18: Cervical Misalignments C2-C7

In today's episode, we begin Chapter 8 on Cervical Misalignments C2-C7.  This chapter will discuss the proper technique for evaluating misalignment of the lower cervical segments using radiography. 

In today's episode we cover some more advanced physics concepts and how they affect our understanding and measurements in biomechanics.  

In today's episode, we begin Chapter 8 and we look at the unique way that we access the cervical spine.  Once we know where the subluxation is, we have a system for evaluating the misalignment to know what we should and should not do.

Today we begin Chapter 9 (the final chapter).  We will be discussing physics principles and how they apply to the spine and its motions. 

In today's episode, we will take the theory we discussed last week, and we will apply it to the x-ray evaluation to ensure that we have proper application leading to correct conclusions.  We will also discuss the proper corrective procedure as a better way of understanding what is happening conceptually. 

In today's episode, we revisit a conversation I had with Dr Gilbert.  She is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and she has performed hundreds of lip tie and tongue tie procedures.  She also happens to be my wife, and I assisted her with all of those procedures.  In this conversation, we were able to talk about our shared experience and what we have learned about this unique space from the dental side of things. 

In today's episode, we complete Chapter 8 by looking at surgical use of osteotomies as well as a chapter review of all the essential knowledge that we can gain from this entire chapter. 

In today's episode, we will look at the uniqueness of the biomechanics and misalignments in the thoracic spine. The purpose of which is to best ascertain how we should be correcting these misalignments to produce an actual correction and not merely a noise. 

In this episode, we conclude Part 4 on Spinal Instrumentation.  This includes a review of all instrumentation that can be used on the entire spine. 

In today's episode, we complete chapter 6.  We will be talking about the use of radiographs to determine the position of the vertebra relative to the one below it.  This is a crucial first step in being able to properly assess how to correct the subluxation.
