In this special pre-taped edition of Roqe, Jian revisits a fascinating conversation with Dr. Kaveh Askari about the remarkable growth of cinema in Iran during the Pahlavi era - and the complicated relationship between Hollywood, Persian culture and the emerging Iranian film industry.
