The extraterrestrial comedy podcast where we probe Spring Heeled Jack. This is a legitimate piece of London folklore from the Victorian era. But what was to blame? Was Jack a single prankster who was then imitated down the years? Was ole’ Jack a noble lord from the upper echelons of society with no regard for the law and the money to get away with it? Was Jack a monster? Or is there a more extraterrestrial explanation? Along the way we paint the town red. We also question whether this is an unofficial world record high jumper or whether this was merely a matter of perspective (which side of the wall are you on)? Alongside that, Greybeard and moonwalker consider their options were they to get in to a fist fight with a bear… All that and more on this week’s file.

Music:

Music created via Garageband. Additional music via: https://freepd.com - thank you most kindly good people. You may also have twigged the start to Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter quietly snuck in to the background. This was composed by the honourable John Williams, conducted by trustworthy John Williams and William Ross and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra. There was also a small snippet from Super Mario 64, the Main Theme used on Bob-Omb Battlefield. This was created via Nintendo and composer Koji Kondo. Finally, we brought you a slice of nostalgia with Disney’s Gummi Bears theme, composed by Michael Silversher and Patricia (Patty) Silversher.
