Are you afraid of making mistakes?

As an entrepreneur for many years, I’ve learned that it’s okay to make mistakes— you don’t have to wear yourself out to be perfect.

There is no such thing as a mistake, only learning moments. Along the way, you’re going to go through inevitable failures. And just like anything in life, you just move forward— you don’t stop.

A mistake is just a mental reframing of things. So instead of thinking about the mistake, think about what you've learned — and how you apply what you learned so you could rise above and be better.

We frequently get asked things like: What do we use for courses and email marketing? What platform do we use to find people to join our team? What tools do we use for project and task management? Where do we host and publish podcasts and how do we transcribe them? And More.

Well, we just put together the Entrepreneurs' Online Business Toolkit PDF which will give you a complete breakdown of the tools we use to run our 7-figure businesses and how we use them. Click here to grab a copy, it will be an invaluable resource in your entrepreneurial journey!

7 Ways To Take Control Over Your Technology

    6:26

Technology can be very beneficial — it's an instrument that makes our lives so much easier. We are surrounded by technology and sometimes it can be a little hard to control. Allow me to share seven things that I personally do to make sure that I am the one controlling my technology: 📱 Disable social media and email notifications from your phone so you don't feel the need to check it all the time. 📱 Don't bring technology with you to the table— leave it elsewhere. 📱 Charge your devices in a separate room before you go to bed at night. 📱 Don't keep a TV in the bedroom. 📱 Create an autoresponder telling people that you're only checking email once or twice a day. 📱 Create rituals for yourself that signify that you are done using technology. 📱 Give yourself an outlet that will temporarily distract you from wanting to go towards technology (maybe go for a walk, do 10 pushups, etc.) We frequently get asked things like: What do we use for courses and email marketing? What platform do we use to find people to join our team? What tools do we use for project and task management? Where do we host and publish podcasts and how do we transcribe them? And More.  Well, we just put together the Entrepreneurs' Online Business Toolkit PDF which will give you a complete breakdown of the tools we use to run our 7-figure businesses and how we use them. How My Biggest Weakness Built A 7 Figure Business

    4:28

I used to be an extremely sensitive person, and I thought something was wrong with me. If I were to talk in a class full of people, my face would turn a dark shade of beet red and I would look like I was going to cry. It was humiliating. But at a certain point in my 20s, I started channeling all my sensitivity and realized how helpful this could be as I navigated modern life. Here’s what I can tell you: Your greatest weakness is your biggest strength, but only if you channel it wisely. It simply takes a shift in mindset to take these things that you hate about yourself and start channeling them into getting everything you want in this world. We frequently get asked things like: What do we use for courses and email marketing? What platform do we use to find people to join our team? What tools do we use for project and task management? 3 Strategies For Getting Repeat Customers

    3:12

When you think about closing more deals and increasing your revenue, you should think about the customers you already have because it's much easier to retain your clients than to go out and find new ones. One essential thing I learned in business is the importance of making your customers your top priority. When your customers are happy, everything else will fall into place. Today, I'm going to be going over three ways to get customers coming back. ✨ Over-deliver ✨ Be a likable person ✨ Ask for the deal We frequently get asked things like: What do we use for courses and email marketing? How To Turn Your Content Into A Profitable Business

    36:03

When Tara Clark decided to create a monetized Instagram account in 2016, very few people were doing it or even thought it was possible. Tara saw the potential to use her professional experience in social media and build a brand centered around motherhood. She took the brave step, and today Modern Mom Probs has more than 750,000 Instagram followers to go along with Tara’s successful blog, book, and clothing subscription service.  Social media is a powerful tool for creating and growing a brand. But Tara warns that there’s more to it than just posting nice pictures and witty captions—content creation involves countless hours of planning, editing, coordinating outside help, working with brands, building a community, and more.  At the heart of growing social media presence is community. Tara says it’s called social media for a reason because it allows people to connect with and engage with others. When Tara started her social media brand five years ago, she found a group of other entrepreneurs who supported and shared each other’s content. That community gave her the tools and insights to grow her brand and helped her find more success than she would have on her own.  Tara acknowledges that there is a certain amount of luck to social media, especially when a post goes viral and brings in tons of new followers. But her best advice is to engage with people by having fresh content that resonates with them. When people see content they can connect with and that is valuable to them, it brings them together and builds a strong community they want to share with others. Tara’s account started as a place to share jokes and memes about motherhood but has expanded to also include inspirational and educational mom-related content. Offering a wider variety of content and expanding into video has helped her brand grow. Creative content that stands out can catch people’s eye.   Tara also recommends putting your content everywhere. Repurposing content by putting the same image or caption in your newsletter, blog, Instagram page, etc., maximizes your work and effort while also ensuring the content is seen by more people and can have a greater impact without a higher cost.  There's no better place for full-time influencers or entrepreneurs looking to build their brand than social media. Growing your social media presence doesn’t happen overnight, but with consistent effort and community-building, you can see strong results over time. We frequently get asked things like: What do we use for courses and email marketing? What platform do we use to find people to join our team? What tools do we use for project and task management? Alli Webb’s Advice to Entrepreneurs on Giving Up Control

    50:47

It’s a common struggle for entrepreneurs—working hard to build their dream company but then giving up some control as the business grows and changes. That was the case for Drybar founder Alli Webb, who grew her company from a mobile blowout business to nearly 100 salons and a product line worth $255 million. Alli started what would become Drybar when she realized there wasn’t a great option for women who wanted a really nice blowout without a really high price tag. To recreate the amazing feeling women get when walking out of the salon, Alli launched a mobile blowout company and serviced customers in their homes. As demand grew, Alli opened her first storefront salon. With excellent service, a relaxing environment for pampering customers, and flat pricing for all types of hair, Drybar quickly took off. As the company grew, Alli faced the common struggle of how much to control. Alli says there is often a negative slant to controlling entrepreneurs, but some of her best and proudest decisions came out of that need for control. All Drybar locations have the same mirrors, décor, tools, and blowdryers to create a cohesive experience that customers know will be amazing no matter what location they visit or what stylist they see. That decision could be seen as controlling, but Alli views it as being intentional about how she wanted the shop to look and feel. Alli had a solid vision for the salon experience and wanted to take the lead. Where she learned to give up control was in areas that weren’t her strength, including things like payroll and finances. Alli realized that by giving up control in the areas that weren’t her strengths, she could pass the responsibility to someone with a better understanding of what the business needed. The control shift continued as Drybar grew and Alli hired more leaders and delegated responsibilities. Alli says that once she was able to cede control of things outside her wheelhouse, the business was able to grow in a healthy way. Alli’s advice to entrepreneurs struggling to give up control is to know and understand your best use and the best use of the people around you. When entrepreneurs can decipher the decisions they have the strengths to make and those where they don’t add value, they can focus their control and efforts on their strengths. Knowing when and how to give up control can be a big challenge for entrepreneurs. But as Alli shows, taking a step back in certain areas can help a business reach great new heights. We frequently get asked things like: What do we use for courses and email marketing? What platform do we use to find people to join our team? What tools do we use for project and task management?
