“What do you do (for a living)?” — It’s one of the most common questions you’ll get asked as an adult at social gatherings. Doesn’t matter if it’s a bar, a café, a networking event, or a family reunion. Work tends to be what occupies the majority of people’s time, so naturally, this is what people will ask about when meeting each other for the first time.
