Vogue Editors Break Down The December Issue Edited By Marc Jacobs

The December Issue is here! For the first time in American Vogue, a guest editor takes the helm: Marc Jacobs. The designer features model Kaia Gerber on the two stunning covers – one shot by photographer Steven Meisel and the other painted by Anna Weyant. Taylor Antrim and Virginia Smith, two Vogue editors who worked closely with Marc and Anna Wintour on the issue, gave Chloe the behind the scenes of how it all came to be.

Nicolas Di Felice, Creative Director of Courrèges, joins Nicole Phelps to discuss both the storied history and the bright future of the French maison. Listen to the episode to learn more about his education, his summertime gig as the guest designer of Jean Paul Gaultier’s latest couture collection, and his favorite celebrity red carpet moment. 

After staying up all night to watch the election returns, Vogue’s political correspondent Jack Schlossberg arrived at The Run-Through studio on Wednesday morning none the worse for wear—but in a reflective mood about the meaning of the historic vote. He spoke to Chloe Malle and Taylor Antrim about what this week’s result means for the Democratic Party–and why he’s feeling hopeful for the future.

Last night, Daniel Roseberry, the American designer who has reinvigorated Schiaparelli since taking over as creative director in 2019, was honored with the CFDA International Designer of the Year Award. The Texas born-and-raised designer joined Vogue’s Nicole Phelps a few days earlier for a refreshingly frank, wide-ranging conversation about his journey from Texas, where he grew up, to Paris where he now resides full time.

Whether it’s a song he’s written or a memento, the 10-time Grammy award winner shares that being precious is not a part of his process on this week’s episode of The Run-Through. FINNEAS first rose to popularity co-writing and producing music with his sister Billie Eilish in their parents’ Los Angeles home. He has since produced music for an endless list of artists including Drake, Rosalía, and Justin Bieber. He speaks with Vogue editors Chloe Schama and Chloe Malle about the making of his second solo album For Cryin’ Out Loud, attending the Met Gala, and working with Alfonso Cuarón on Apple TV’s new series Disclaimer. Plus, Chioma Nnadi and Chloe Malle discuss fashion news of the week, including Chioma’s recent conversion to Maria Callas core inspired by Angelina Jolie’s new film Maria, the best looks at the Academy Museum Gala, and a review of Armani’s first New York runway show.

This week, Nicole Phelps is joined by Jim Moore, GQ’s Creative Director at Large, to talk about Armani’s impact and legacy just in time for his spring 2025 show in New York City later this week, the first time that his main collection has been shown outside of Milan.
