We took the relaxation part of our 80s sleep meditation and created a nice NAP Meditation with it! Focus on the center of your forehead and imagine that relaxing energy is beginning to flow from the universe or source into that 3rd eye location. As this relaxation energy enters your body, it begins to spread to your muscles, intensifying as it does and helping those muscles to release tension and help you relax deeply. Soon you'll drift off into a rejuvenating nap so you can recharge and refresh. At the 1 hour mark, you'll be gently awakened feeling wonderful, so you can enjoy the rest of your day! Don't miss my new 6 Minute Meditations Podcast at https://open.spotify.com/show/1B9vBP2ldp5sDLmsMF5ZCW?si=cb03846ce0714ec6 Relaxing At The Cottage is a guided NAP meditation designed to gently lead you into a peaceful and restorative slumber through the power of visualization and deep relaxation. Beginning with simple prompts to get comfortable and aware of your body, the meditation encourages you to gradually release tension by scanning your body from toe to head, softly repeating the word relax to yourself. This calming process, paired with gentle breathing and the subtle act of opening and closing your eyes, helps draw your awareness inward and quiet the mind. As your body settles, you are invited to imagine yourself at a serene cottage by a tranquil lake. This vivid visualization paints a picture of natural beauty: a cozy lakeside cottage, a fire pit nestled in the yard, and a dock stretching into rippling waters under the fading light of day. Surrounded by trees and the sounds of birds and squirrels preparing for nightfall, you make your way to the dock and settle into a comfortable chair, watching the sun begin its descent across the water. The imagery evokes feelings of comfort, stillness, and being at one with nature. As the sun dips lower, shifting the sky from yellow to orange to deep red, the lake's surface calms, reflecting the vibrant colors like a mirror. The gentle lap of water, the call of a loon, and the scent of a nearby campfire create a sensory-rich environment that soothes the nervous system. You are guided to embrace this moment of solitude and serenity, where there is nothing to do but relax and drift deeper into rest. With every word, this meditation helps you disconnect from the day and ease into relaxing nap. You will then be awakened at the end of this guided meditation.

This wonderful NAP meditation guides you into deep relaxation by helping you release the mental and emotional weight of your day. Beginning with slow, calming breaths and full-body awareness, you're invited to settle comfortably and let your muscles soften with each exhale. Through soothing imagery, you'll visualize placing your worries, tasks, and concerns into a special container beside you — safely set aside for later — creating a clear and peaceful inner space for rest. With nothing left to solve and nowhere to go, your only focus becomes comfort, stillness, and the steady rhythm of your breathing. As your body relaxes more deeply, you're guided to connect with a growing sphere of warm white light — a symbol of your inner goodness, resilience, and positivity. This light expands and brightens with every breath, surrounding you in a cocoon of calm energy that restores your spirit and gently recharges your emotional strength. Affirming peaceful, empowering thoughts, you drift into sleep wrapped in warmth and reassurance. This meditation is ideal for anytime you want to enjoy a restful nap and awaken uplifted, renewed and refreshed.
