136. From Genocide to Grace an Incredible Survival Story | Immaculee Ilibagiza
This episode was recorded on May 27th, 2024.
Raised amidst the horrors of the 1994 genocide in Rwanda, my podcast guest found refuge within a tiny bathroom alongside seven other women for a harrowing three months. Upon their emergence, the devastating reality of their murdered families awaited. Drawing strength from her spiritual faith, prayer, and notably the Rosary, she lived to tell her profound story. Today, residing in New York City with her husband and two children, she authored the autobiographical book, "Left to Tell", which captures her heart-wrenching experiences, and speaks publicly about her life journey.
