1:21Kamala Das is one of the most prominent Indian poet and writer, and her poem "Words" describes, beautifully, the juxtaposition of words and silence, and even though words seldom help the way we want them to, still they keep coming, as if from a somewhere far within, a place we can't fathom.

Against the capitalistic sky, she paints the myriad colors of nature, and takes us beyond that artificial sky, into the human essence. This particular piece is a powerful statement, reminding us to keep track and forge a conscious path for ourselves as we live and love though this life.
