NFL Draft round one recap

Its a bonus hour of the All-Night Draft Party as Arcand and Jon Lyons wait for the Patriots to make their final selection of the night; except it keeps getting pushed back with the Patriots trading back in the third round of the draft. Mike Vrabel is looking like his former head coach Bill Belichick with his constant movement backwards in the draft. Then, as they guys wait, they discuss the Celtics having a bad night in Orlando and losing Game 3 of their first round series to the Magic. It may not be a significant loss, but it is definitely annoying to have the series be extended at least an extra game. And, a selection is finally made and Jared Wilson comes from Georgia to New England as the Patriots draft the center with their final third round draft pick. Is this a good move or a bad move?

The NFL Draft continues with Will Campbell remaining the headliner of the 2025 Patriots' draft class. Arcand and Jon Lyons circle back to that conversation and both agree that even if he has to move to guard, Campbell will be a good player for the Patriots. Then, the Pats make their second selection of the night and add to their receiver room with Kyle Williams from Washington State. And, Williams entering the receiver group means someone has to go, but which one will that be?

In the first of two third round picks, the Patriots selected wide receiver Kyle Williams out of Washington State. Arcand and Lyons react to the 69th overall selection from the Pats addressing yet another need.

Reaction continues from the Patriots picking Ohio State running back TreVeyon Henderson in the second round. Lyons argues why Henderson fits so well for the kind of offense that Josh McDaniels wants to run. Then, there will be those who believe a running back, and even someone like Henderson, should not be picked in the second round. Was the selection too early for Eliot Wolf to make?
