65 - Part 1: From Rock Bottom to Resilience: Rebuilding After Miscarriage, Marriage Struggles, and Family Heartbreak
Welcome back to The Brand Is You podcast, where today, I’m taking you behind-the-scenes into my life--GULP! --and opening up about many personal stories from the past year that I haven't been ready to share until now. This episode is the first of a powerful three-part series filled with deep personal struggles, heartbreak, and a whole lot of growth.
In this episode, I’m sharing the raw, unfiltered story of how I rebuilt my life and (eventually) my business, after hitting rock bottom, multiple times . From navigating the pain of miscarriage to facing marriage struggles that nearly ended in divorce, and dealing with my grandmother’s cancer diagnosis...let's just say that this year was one that tested me in every way imaginable But thanks to hundreds of hours journaling, many therapies, friends, family, and a full surrender to the ugly unraveling-- I found resilience, healing, and a new way forward.
If you’ve ever felt like the weight of life is too heavy to carry while running a business, or like the personal and professional sides of you are in constant conflict trying to "figure it all out", this episode is for you. I hope that this conversation reminds you that even in life's hardest moments, it *is* possible to keep returning to who YOU are. I know it can feel impossible. I was there, too.
What you’ll hear in this episode:
How I navigated the emotional toll of miscarriage and what it taught me about surrender and trust.
The truth behind my marriage struggles and the hard conversations that almost ended it all--and led to more love than I ever believed possible for my relationship.
My experience with family heartbreak, supporting my grandmother through cancer, and the surprising healing that followed.
Why I had to completely pause and rebuild my business, despite having reached financial success.
The lessons I learned about showing up authentically in business while honoring the messy, human side of life.
This is me, unfiltered—sharing the parts of my journey that didn’t make it to Instagram. I hope that you’ll see parts of yourself in these stories that remind you that you are not (ever) alone.
Tune in now, and don’t forget to subscribe—this is just Part 1 of the series! In the next episode, I’ll dive into what I learned on a 10 day solo camping trip with my daughters, the experience of going offline as an online business owner, and what happened when I completely "let go" of my income goals!
This is the real deal. This is me! And I am here to invite you in.
