A 30-year-old man has been found guilty of royal defamation and given a suspended sentence of 1 year and 6 months for a post criticising Covid-19 vaccine production by the Siam Bioscience company.

A Qatari foreigner has been arrested for allegedly raping an 18-year-old Thai man in a restroom at a well-known private hospital located in the Sukhumvit area.

The Interior Ministry is working with related parties to find suitable locations as pilot areas for the government s plan to allow night entertainment venues to stay open until 4am.

Woman in custody after Benz ploughs into Veg Fest crowd
A 62-year-old woman was taken into custody late yesterday afternoon (Oct 12) after the Mercedes-Benz she was driving ploughed into roadside stalls set up for the Vegetarian Festival near the Jui Tui Shrine in Phuket Town, one of the oldest Chinese shrines on the island and one of the main shrines taking part in the festival.
