Russian tourists abducted in Phuket Town, released after paying B30mn in cryptocurrency
Police in Phuket Town successfully apprehended four individuals accused of kidnapping two Russian tourists on the night of January 31. The victims, a man and a woman whose identities have not been disclosed by law enforcement were abducted near the Oho Pharmacy at the intersection of Chaofa Rd, Phatipat Rd, Bangkok Rd, and Pattana Rd, commonly known as the 'Slaughterhouse Intersection,' around 10 pm.
