John Blank says the “real salient event” around oil will be in six months when producers of oil-based products have a supply shock. In fact, he thinks prices could even hit $150-$200/barrel over the next 6-12 months. TSMC (TSM) is “number one” on his list right now, saying you have to buy while “the wall of worry is rising.” He also likes Seagate (STX), and Nvidia (NVDA) if it sees a pullback. He also highlights tech ETFs and the “picks and shovels” of the tech industry.
