This episode is quite a remarkable story, I said in the pod that  it could have been the plot of an Ian McEwan novel.
We go back to 1961 to examine a double murder at Aldington, Kent. It was quite quickly solved by Detective chief Superintendent John Du Rose, although I call him Detective Inspector in the podcast. Another mistake in the podcast which I knew I was saying it wrong as I said it, this was the pronunciation of Gillingham. But as I claim not to edit podcasts, it had to stay as it was.
The information is sourced from Primary sources. I have put some photos on the Strange Stories UK Facebook site.

I am working on a couple of much longer podcasts which I think I will put out in parts. One of these will be about some unknown stories about the Kray gang. It has been so much easier and lighter putting out shorter episodes, I think 30-40 minutes is the ideal length which I am aiming to do in the future although some will overrun.

As always I stumble over words and the podcast is produced in lo-fi.
