Amidst rising breast cancer rates among younger Americans, a new guideline about breast cancer screening emerges from the US Preventive Services Task Force. The USPSTF now recommends women beginning at 40 years old should receive a mammogram every other year. The previous recommendation was that women should begin receiving biannual screenings at age 50. Candy O’Terry, radio personality and breast cancer survivor, joined Dan to discuss the new guideline and share her story.
