The Colorado Avalanche and New York Rangers went toe to toe Thursday night, and then let a shoot-out decide the winner. A great game from start to finish saw the Avalanche drop the extra point in the shoot-out, and to add salt in the wound, Nathan MacKinnon's two streaks came to an end, but not without some controversy surrounding an assist he was initially given but was then taken away.
