Julian scouts the surf and hits the hills. Brady puts doubles back into the programme then crosses paths with a big pack off to the pub.    Jess Hull set a new 1500m National and Oceania Record of 3:55.97 in the Pre Classic Diamond League in Eugene Oregon, just behind winner Diribe Welteji and holding off Elle St. Pierre. Linden Hall who was also in the race ran 4:01.97 Catriona Bisset ran an Olympic Qualifier of 1:58.44 in the 800m, while Keely Hodgkinson won a world leading 1:55.78 over Mary Moraa. Josh Kerr took out the Bowerman Mile in 3:45.34, once again beating Jakob Ingebrigsten. Oli Hoare ran an Olympic Qualifier time of 3:49.11, while Cameron Myers posted a personal best 3:50.15 for an U/20 National Record. Lauren Ryan ran 15:03.63 in the 5000m with Tsigie Gebreselama winning in a world leading 14:18.76. The event also hosted the Kenyan 10000m Trials that saw Beatrice Chebet run 28:54.14 for a new 10000m World Record, while Daniel Meteiko ran 26:50.81 to take the win. Pre Classic Results   Andrew Dey and Imy Briscoe were the winners of the Runaway Noosa Marathon, while Ella McCartney and Alex Harvey each won the Half Marathon. Results   Jack Rayner 27:44 Manchester Run second, just off his 10k Road National Record, while Pat Tiernan placed in seventh with 28:09. Vincent Ngetich won the Men’s Race in 27:25, while the first woman across was Gotytom Gebreslase in 30:32. Great Manchester Run 10k Results   Tigist Assefa’s marathon World Record set in Berlin Marathon officially ratified. World Athletics Press Release   Michael Roeger wins the bronze medal in the T46 1500m at the Kobe Para Athletic World Champs, while Deon Kenzie also wins a bronze medal in the T38 1500m. Para Athletic World Champs Results   Milly Clark and Brad Tennick won the 12km City To Casino in Hobart, Tasmania. Morgan McDonald finished two places behind him in 13:00.48, also a personal best and Olympic Qualifier. Oli Hoare won the 1500m in 3:34.73, with Jesse Hunt in 3:35.38 and Cameron Myers 3:35.59. Lauren Ryan won the 1500m B Race in 4:08.15, Catriona Bisset in her 800m ran 2:00.22 Results via World Athletics   Soufaine El Bakkali took out the 3000m Steeplechase in front of the home crowd at the Rabat Diamond League in Morocco, while Prudence Sekgodiso of South Africa posted a winning World Lead of 1:57.26 in the Women’s 800m. Rabat Diamond League Results   Great Ocean Road Marathon won by Johannes Motschmann of Germany in 2:36:35 and Meriem Daoui in 3:04:24. Grace Tame was claimed first place in the 60km Ultra Marathon, as did James Riggs in 3:56:41. Andrea Seccafien won the Half Marathon ahead of Sarah Klein and Ellie Pashley while Bret Ellis was the Men’s winner. Lissy Duncan and Dale Carrol won the 14km Paradise Run the day prior. Great Ocean Road Running Festival Results   Sam Clifford won the Sydney 10 in 29:09 ahead of Ed Goddard. Abigail Nordberg won in 33:13 ahead of Stephanie Kelly. Sydney 10 Results   Rose Davies set a new 5000m National Record of 14:41.65 for the win at the Seiko Golden Grand Prix in Tokyo Japan, with Izzy Batt Doyle running third in 15:08.67. Sarah Billings and Georgia Griffith took out the 1500m in 4:04.66 and 4:05.35 respectively. Matt Ramsden clocked 13:38.1 in the Men’s 5000m. UTA Results   Rodgers Kwemoi of Kenya has been banned for six years following an ongoing investigation by the Athletics Integrity Unit, finding numerous violations of his athlete biological passport during that period. Kwemoi, coached by Patrick Sang has been stripped of all results from 2016 onwards. Aths Vic Results Hub   Jess Hull placed second in the Doha Diamond League with a time of 4:00.84 just behind winner Frewenyi Hailu of Ethiopia, with Georgia Griffith running 4:06.13 and Abbey Caldwell in 4:12.36. Doha Diamond League   World Athletics announces amendments to the Olympic Marathon qualifications with spots designated for Universality places that were not previously introduced, potentially compromising athletes who are within the selection quota with lower rankings, such as Liam Adams and Leonard Korir of the USA. Sam McEntee ran 13:25.62 for third in the Men’s 5000m, Andre Waring 28:56.82 in the Men’s 10000m. Results   Eliud Kipchoge was selected for his fifth Olympic team, hoping for a third consecutive gold medal in the marathon. His teammates for Kenya will be Benson Kipruto who recently beat Kipchoge at this year’s Tokyo Marathon and 2024 winner of the London Marathon Alexander Mutiso. Brad puts his biggest week of mileage as he continues his journey on the mend. Japan Running News   Andy Buchanan 2:08:58 for 11th place at the Hamburg Marathon, elevating him as the 7th fastest Australian all time but missing the Olympic Qualifier. Ryan Gregson ran 2:18:53 while Ellie Pashley gave it a go in 2:29:58. The race was won by Bernard Koech in 2:04:24, and debutant Irine Cheptai in 2:18:21. Hamburg Marathon Results   Emmanuel Wanyonyi sets a new Road Mile World Record of  3:54.50 ahead of previous holder Hobbs Kessler at the Adidas Road to Records Adizero. Results via Let’s Run   Rose Davies secures an Olympic Qualifying time of 14:47.86 and third fastest all-time at the Suzhou Diamond League 5000m, with Lauren Ryan in 14:58.69, Izzy Batt-Doyle in 15:06 and Maudie Skyring running 15:12. Alemeshete Mekedes of Ethiopia won in 14:36. In the men’s 5000m, Morgan McDonald ran 13:18.65 and Jack Rayner 13:19.57 with Selemon Barega of Ethiopia taking it out in 12:55.68. Cara Feain-Ryan ran 9:31.68 in the 3000m Steeplechase. Shanghai/Suzhou Diamond League Results    Oli Hoare at Penn Relays 3:51.28 Mile, narrowly missing the Olympic Qualifier and coming second behind OAC teammate Yared Nuguse.
