The forgotten caves nurses of Okinawa. When we talk about World War II in Japan the majority of what People learn is all about Hiroshima and Nagasaki, both incredibly important historical events don’t get me wrong but because of this many stories go untold. I must admit that it wasn’t until this year that I learned about the Okinawa cave nurses. But once I heard their story I had to tell other people about it. In episode 110 of for the love of history podcast  we learn about the abhorrent conditions that these girls worked in and see the war from their perspective.  Want more For the Love of History?!
