I loved meeting with Monika and learning more about Aqua Expeditions. . Why Aqua Expeditions? Aqua expeditions are luxury small-ship expeditions in remote destinations. They have State-of-the-art designed vessels. The service on Aqua Expeditions offers personalized luxury travel experiences with a 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio. . Aqua Expeditions travels to the Peruvian Amazon and the Pacaya-Samiria Reserve. All the suites maximize your views with floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outdoors in. . You can upgrade to having two connecting suites, which is only an additional 25% of the cost. - Double the space and not double the price sounds great to me! You can bring your family and have lots of room to stretch out! You can bring the family or use the second suite as your living room. The choice is yours. . Aria Amazon High Water Itinerary is: Iquitos City is where you will start and end your cruise. With stops at Acu Yacapana, Nauta Town, Casuala, Dauta Caro, Yanayacu Pucate, Giavero Lake, Pacaya Samiria National Reserve. So many unplanned stops, you can enjoy the spontaneity of this expedition cruise. . The high-water season is from November to May, and the low-water season is from April to October. . The Low Water Season Itinerary starts in Nauta Town and traverses the Tahuayo and Maranon Rivers. You will also visit Puerto Prado and Yanayacu Pucate and continue cruising on the Oucayali River, Tapara River, and Cavero Lake. You will also visit the Pacaya Samaria National Reserve and have outstanding experiences in both itineraries. . Both seasons will still give you great wildlife viewing, and you will still visit the rainforest. You will fly to a city called Aitos. It's about 1 hour and 40 minutes from Lima. . The Aqua Nera has a more upscale design and departs on different days of the week than the Aqua Aria, but the itineraries are the same. . Departure Dates: Aria Amazon (Monday and Friday) and Aqua Nera (Tuesday and Saturday. She also has three Decks, a top viewing deck and two passenger decks. Aqua Nero has many dark wood tones. Nera means Black in Italian; keeping with its namesake, much of the color scheme is black. . Inside the bathroom, handmade inlay Portuguese-painted tile is present. Many details tie in the Peruvian area's history and culture. The lounge and bar areas have bamboo seating, using the materials surrounding the Peruvian rainforest. . Beer and wine are included on the Aqua Nera throughout your voyage. The ship also has a screening room (movie room) and a balanced pool table, a great addition. So you can have fun and unwind at the end of your day of exploration. . My favourite feature of the Aqua Nera is the Infinity pool! Seeing the rainforest as you soak in an infinity pool would be outstanding! . You can go Kayaking down the Amazon with Aqua Expeditions. You can also go fishing for piranhas. What a great experience!

. Aqua Expeditions also offers birdwatching and helps you take the best photos. You can also borrow one of Aqua's bikes and explore the town. .
