Archaeologists found a pit full of giant dismembered hands near an ancient Egyptian king's palace, hinting that warriors may have offered the king the hands of their defeated enemies as trophies. Another cool discovery is a 52-foot-long papyrus scroll from the Book of the Dead, found in a coffin near the Step Pyramid of Djoser.
