Polygamy is BACK... and its NOT The "Mormons" Doing It!

Elder Ronald A. Rasband stood up at a BYU devotional and announced the number.95,400 missionaries.A new record. Third new record in three months.- Brigham Young and Heber C. Kimball, sick in the wagon, still rose up and shouted “Hurrah for Israel.”- The room stood up and did it three times.- Up from 88,500 in July. Up from 90,000 last month.- The surge is the sisters. Age lowered to 18. Now over 30,000 women serving. Highest in church history.- A year ago: about 78,600. Now 95,400.- Other denominations have holy envy for a force of young people this size.- Missions still endow people with power. The ability to do hard things.#Missionaries #ElderRasband #WardRadio #HurrahForIsraelChapter Markers0:00 – 95,000 missionaries 1:20 – Brigham and Heber in the wagon 3:00 – The room stands and shouts 4:15 – The new record 6:00 – The sisters drove it 8:00 – Holy envy from outside 11:00 – Endowment of power 12:30 – Hurrah for IsraelBecome a member of this channel to get early access to videos and members only content:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCnmsAFGrFuGe0obW6tkEY6w/joinSupport the channel by purchasing equipment to help make content through our Amazon Wish List (please write a limerick in the "gist notes" and we will read it on the show!): https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1AQLMTSMBM4DC?ref_=wl_shareTo order Ward Radio Branded "merch", please visit: https://www.wardradio.com/category/all-products For this and more, please visit: WardRadio.comNow go do your ministering! Alright Ladies and Gentlemen... Polygamy is officially BACK! And its NOT the Latter-Day Saints doing it this time! Meet Isaiah Ford and his two ministering wives, or "sisters in marriage", Shakayla and Lydia Ford. Introduced in front of a large graphic that says "Kingdom Marriage", this viral video is making WAVES online and we are here to surf them!

This one was heart-warming. Recently a friend of the show, Troy Sariah, also known as "Black Blessed LDS" on X, tagged Elder Gerrit W. Gong on a post he made, and Elder Gong responded! This wholesome reminder that we will leave the 99 for the 1 is the true "feel good" video of the week! #LDs #mormon #apostles

Ken LaCorte, host of "Elephants in Rooms" just released an interesting video analyzing why members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints are "winning". In this episode, Carodn Ellis, director and host of Ward Radio, reacts to what Ken LaCorte got right (and maybe a little wrong) in his analysis. Thank you to Ken LaCorte for obviously attempting to be "fair"... what a great conversation starter.

In a Massachusetts political campaign, a Latter Day Saint candidate, Elizabeth Dionne, is claiming to be the victim of anti-Mormon bigotry and targeted religious discriminatory remarks. We analyze her claims in this episode!

A gruesome attack upon the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church in Karak, Jordan has prompted an official statement from the Church of JEsus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In this episode, Bart Marcois, ex-diplomat and Arabist for the United States and member of the church provides details and insight to host, Cardon Ellis.Articles cited in this video: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/10/24/who-was-behind-the-deadly-church-shooting-in-jordanStatement by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints: https://news-middleeast.churchofjesuschrist.org/article/church-leaders-extend-condolences-and-sympathy-following-tragedy-at-saint-george-greek-orthodox-church-in-jordanhttps://www.latimes.com/world-nation/story/2026-10-23/gunmen-open-fire-at-church-during-funeral-in-jordan-killing-7-wounding-34https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/oct/24/seven-killed-and-40-injured-after-gunmen-open-fire-at-church-funeral-in-jordan

Lol. Every year we get a new rendition of Hamlet, "To celebrate Halloween or NOT to celebrate Haloween... THAT is the question!" This time, the prominent nay-sayer is Allie Beth Stuckey, but she isn't just coming for your favorite little holiday, she is after horror movies and true-crime drama herself! But, in the words of John Crist, "That's a tricky theology" right? We analyze in this video. #christian #relatable #LDS #bible #halloween

A proposed data center in Liberty, Missouri sits on the old Michael Arthur plantation. That’s where several Book of Mormon witnesses are buried. Christian Whitmer. Peter Whitmer Jr. Others nearby. Same ground holds slave burials, Mormon refugee graves, and the spot where pieces of Zelph were reburied after Zion’s Camp.John Haya-Czech walked into the Liberty City Council and told them. They said they’d never heard of it.- Church headquarters in the 1830s. Refugees living in the slave cabins. Bricks made by the Saints for Arthur’s house.- Monument placed in 2011. Right spot for awareness. Wrong spot for the actual burials.- Zelph’s thigh bone carried in Wilford Woodruff’s wagon, then reburied near Liberty.- Church owns the surrounding land. This parcel stayed private. Now it’s a data center site between Amazon and Ford.- City council: “This is the first we’re hearing of it.”- Taxes, archaeological surveys, and what happens when nobody checks.Call Gail Miller. Get it to national media. Pope Leo just made an announcement against the Death Penalty, and Trevor Tomesh and Kai Schwemmer were on board! Here's the conversation and THIS is how they almost changed my mind.

Pope Leo just called the death penalty an attack on the dignity of the human person.Catholics are already fighting. Trads say Chicago went woke. Others say finally.Trevor Tomesh  @realdrtt  (Catholic, former atheist) and Kai Schwemmer  @kaischwem  walk into the wigwam with Cardon.- Not new. Catechism changed in 2018 under Francis. The word is **inadmissible**.- Respect Life Month: conception to natural death. Euthanasia, MAiD, then this.- Cardon’s radio-show argument: the death penalty as a path to repentance. The pastor said he’d think about it for days.- Millstone for child offenders. Woman caught in adultery. Both in the same book.- Augustine, Aquinas, Trent, the Papal States. Then John Paul II. Then Francis. Then Leo.- Green Mile: “Don’t mess with him. He has paid his price to society.”- The one case: premeditated murder, then he wants to atone. Have we closed the door?- Two deaths don’t balance the scales. Corrections officers pay too.- Cost, martyrs, and the guy who would rather die than sit in the trial.- Steel-man the other side: deterrence, Deuteronomy, slippery slope.- Then Nephi and Laban. And Ezekiel 33:11.Cardon starts at 99%. They almost get the last percent.#PopeLeo #DeathPenalty #WardRadio #TrevorTomesh### Chapter Markers0:00 – Pope Leo says no death penalty 2:50 – “Inadmissible” is not “morally wrong” 4:55 – The repentance argument that stopped a pastor 5:50 – Authority of the pontiff.
