We are almost at the end of January and I want to ask you...

"How are your New Year's resolutions working out?"

I'm asking because, this is typically the time when New Years resolutions fizzle out and old habits kick back in.

And it's not your fault.

If you've been trying to create a change in your life but are starting to feel like your white knuckling it, there's one thing you can do that'll help you create the results you want.

You can start working on your self-image.

When you want to create lasting results in your life, the best place to start is with how you think about yourself.

Everything that surrounds you is most likely a reflection of your self image.

How you see yourself determines the choices that you make. So the choices that you make determine the surroundings that you find yourself in.

You've created what is around you right now by the choices that you’ve made, based on the beliefs that you have but your environment is also reflecting back those beliefs about yourself.

So when you feel like your white knuckling the actions needed to create the result that you want, think about the women you need to become.

Ask yourself:

"Who do I need to become to loose the weight?"

"Who do I need to become to have a home that's clutter free and organized?"

"Who do I need to become to ....?"

When you start think about your goals in terms of who you need to become, then you can start to embody that future version of your self now. And when you embody your future self now, then you can begin to take strategic action that aligns with how you feel and who you're becoming.

Versus trying to take action based on old thoughts. It will always feel like an uphill battle.

This is the number one mistake I see women making when they are trying to create change in their life.

And if you want to learn more about how to shift your self image so you can create an elegant life you love, then I invite you to join me as a founding student inside Always Elegant Living.
