Interview: Declan Shalvey - Terminator (Oct 9), Thundercats, Alien, Mystique Oct 16

  1. Declan, thanks for joining me on the AIPT Comics podcast for the fourth time! To start, man has there been a lot of media of late that you’re tapped into, like the new Alien movie and the new Terminator anime, have you caught up on all these properties?
  2. The concept behind your series is something I've always pondered but you’re actually doing: Terminators are dispatched across the globe and throughout time to target current resistance fighters, was this an idea you cooked up for awhile?
  3. You’re working with Luke Sparrow, what makes him a good fit for the series? Collin Kregor
  4. We just had Hannah Rose May on to talk The exorcism at 1600 penn, and she had so many nice things to say about ya! Would you ever want to collab with her again and if so, what sort of book?
  5. Terminator Thundercats crossover when?
  6. Old Dog is your creator-owned did it inspire the Mystique pitch?
  7. Moving to Mystique, how long have you been working on this one?
  8. Is there a pool of mutants you are told you can use, or is it more of a “check with Tom Brevoort” sort of thing?
  9. What makes a good McGuffin story?
