Today’s guest is Kerry Miller, co-founder and General Partner of venture capital fund Overton VC. Overton has a pulse on evolving consumer behavior and invests in ambitious, consumer-focused entrepreneurs who are building exceptional next-generation brands and services. Kerry’s extensive career includes 8 years at Goldman Sachs as a Senior Vice President and also years as a management consultant at Willis Towers Watson. Kerry has been an angel investor for more than a decade where she serves as a talent strategy advisor to early stage companies. She’s an active philanthropist, supporting NPO’s and even being the president of a national service organization. Last year she received the inaugural Elaine Winik award from the Jewish Federation of New York for her leadership in service.

Today, we speak about being a woman in venture capital and the qualities Kerry looks for when she invests.  We will also discuss how her Jewish values and traditions play an important role in both philanthropy and business.
