I am joined by Cynthia Corbett to discuss the Young Masters Art Prize which she founded in 2009.In this podcast, Cynthia explains how the prize started and has grown over the years. She discusses the exhibitions that are scheduled for this years winners later in the fall and how the YMAP continues to exhibit outside of the prize years.The prize has previously served as a launch pad for many artists which Cynthia shares on this episode, and is currently open for submissions from artists based anywhere in the world. She is keen to emphasise that Young Masters is a play on Old Masters. Young referring to living artists of any age practicing today - there is no upper age limit .
