022 - Finding Acceptance With What Is Right Now

Oof it's a biggie this week!  I wasn't sure I was going to record this episode.  Part of me didn't want to get involved in the conversation or energy of this topic, but a bigger part of me wanted to share my take on it.   Then earlier this week during one of my sessions, one of the people there shared her experience of religious trauma and I realised that this is actually a really important conversation to have.   It is always my intention to bring balance to these topics and conversations and I'm certainly not here for the bashing and witch hunts that you sometimes see happening.  I just think the more we try to understand each other and move away from fear based manipulation, the better we will all be!   This is obviously a huge topic and I would love to invite you to be part of a group discussion I am going to host on this in the Spiritual Network.  If you haven't already joined us in there you can do so by clicking here.

This week I wanted to talk about the importance of being anchored into faith.  In other words, giving daily focus to the practice of connecting to what feels true inside of you.   We are in a world where we are being constantly bombarded by the thoughts and opinions of others.  Just today I read a post that triggered some old wounds around religion and knowing the right path to take.  I felt myself momentarily slipping into worry that I was getting it wrong and that ultimately my soul wouldn't be saved!  I know right?!   But then I quickly returned back to what FELT true for me.  What felt loving.  And I was reminded that truly our own guidance is the most powerful guidance we can choose to follow.  When we are willing to be tossed and turned in the sea of other people's opinions, we have no grounding.  No anchor!   I hope this episode serves you, as always.   If you haven't yet joined us in The Spiritual Network and you'd like to, please click the link and we'll welcome you with open arms.
