Kathy and Kirsten are a mother/daughter team specializing in effective conversation skills for work and parenting. Their unique conversation framework and simple, effective approach are what they are known for. At work, they help entrepreneurs & professionals have curious conversations - even in challenging and uncomfortable situations - so they can optimize teams & better serve their clients to move their business forward. At home they help parents be their best when parenting gets hard so they can better understand their kids, bringing more connection and joy to their home life. Kathy and Kirsten are founders of the Institute Of Curiosity, authors of The Power Of Curiosity: How To Have Real Conversations That Create Collaboration, Innovation & Understanding, and certified executive coaches. Kathy has an MA in Leadership, is a certified consultant in Emotional Intelligence, is a grandmother of 5, and lives in Kelowna, BC. Kirsten has a BA in Sociology, is a TEDx speaker, and is a mom of 2 teens who recently left LA to give them a ‘normal’ life in Kelowna, BC.
