She speaks Kingdom truth with such conviction and humility and I KNOW as you listen to this you’re going to feel empowered and fueled with courage to step out and be obedience in the hard things! Jamie is the founder and author of her blog and organization, Foster The Family and she just released her first devotional titled Filled which is designed to encourage foster families with God’s word in their journey's. I am so inspired by this woman! 

This week we have the delightful Christian Bevere on the podcast and it was such a gift to spend a few hours together and chatting through life. Christian wrote the book “Breaking Up With what Broke You” addressing how God redeems and rewrites stories. Christian just welcomed her second baby, is a wife, an author, and has the most creative eye to make things breathtakingly beautiful! I know you’ll love this episode as much as I did! 

This week's guest on the pod is one of my dearest and most loyal friend, Sammy Verner. Sammy carries a remarkable gift to see and serve people where they are at in a way I have never seen. She's never the loudest girl in the room but she's always the most compassionate. There is a steadiness and consistency to who Sammy is and how she shares the gospel that will mark you. She's a wife, a mom to a two year old angel boy, she's as competitive as they come, and spends her day to day as a physicians assistant. I know after you hear the authenticity from Sammy's heart you'll walk away encouraged and challenged to walk in confidence of how God has designed YOU.

Season 2 episode 18 on the Let Me Ask You This podcast is with my girl Brenna Blain. Brenna wrote a recently released and AMAZING book called 'Can I Say That?' and when I say I engulfed this book up in one sitting, I really did! I listened to the entire thing on a plane ride home and was in tears. The vulnerability of her story and the way she invites Jesus into the hard questions is such a breath of fresh air! In this episode we unravel the concept of suffering, community, mental health, same sex attraction, and the journey of inviting Jesus to reign in your life. I value this friends voice and walked away from this conversation so refreshed and inspired and I know you will too! I wanted this episode to be more of a dialogue about real life instead of unraveling Brenna's story and so if you're here and want to hear more about Brenna's story here is a great podcast she recently recorded with Jackie Hill + Tyler Perry that you should listen too. Hannah has one of those voices that you just want to lean in and listen intently too. Hannah is a mother, wife to a world renowned artist, a pioneer, a beautiful writer, and business owner. Together with her husband they started Everyday Heirloom Co, a brand dedicated to adorning women as God’s beloved using timeless methods of craft & storytelling. In this episode we unravel the journey as an artist of using this one life and devoting it to using the gifts deposited inside you. Season 2 Episode 17 is with the one and only Abigail Eernisse founder of Abolitionist Collective. Abigail is a freedom fighter and had devoted her life to serving women in the commercial sex industry. She is a Kingdom-come kind of woman that will leave you so inspired to walk in purpose and rest. I have admired this friend of mine for years and every time we get the chance to catch up I just leave shaking my head in amazement at how deep of a well she has carved out with the Lord. In this episode we unpack the importance of a sabbatical, keeping your heart fixed on first love, and what it’s like working in the anti human trafficking industry.
