Prayer for the Faithful DepartedEternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,and let perpetual light shine upon them.May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed,through the mercy of God, rest in peace.Almighty and merciful Father,we remember today all our brothers and sisters who have gone before usmarked with the sign of faith.Console us in our grief and grant that we may see them againin the joy of Your heavenly kingdom.Lord Jesus Christ,by Your death and resurrection,You have destroyed the power of sin and death.Grant them everlasting life and let them share in Your glory.Strengthen us in faith,fill us with hope,and lead us to the eternal home You have preparedfor all who love You.We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for All Saints DayO God of holiness and glory, today we rejoice in the feast of All Saints, your faithful servants who now stand before Your throne, singing forever of Your goodness and love.In every age and nation, You have called men and women to follow Christ, to live the Gospel with courage, and to shine as lights in the world. Their witness strengthens us, their prayers support us, and their example shows us the path to holiness.As we honor this great communion of saints, we ask that You pour out upon us the same Spirit that filled their hearts with faith and love. Make us steadfast in trials, joyful in hope, and generous in works of mercy.Gather us one day with them into the fullness of Your kingdom, where with Mary, Queen of All Saints, and all the angels, we will praise You without end, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
