Joining us today is Christian Hip-Hop and RnB Recording Artist, Tj Carroll. I am thrilled that Tj came on Write it Down. Tj has been given many opportunities in the Christian Rap world with connections and talent. He has always been gifted at freestyle, but when he became a Christian, things in Carroll's life, including his lyrics, began to flow more smoothly. Tj Carroll has had a few mixtapes drop including his EP "October Baby", a few singles, and his latest album "Soul Poem" which debuted in May of 2021.
Tj has been connected with other 116 artists. The 116 is a notable Christian hip hop collective signed to the well known, Atlanta-based, Reach Records. Every year, Reach Records releases 116 Summer Album. Tj was featured on "116 Summer Twenty-One" with the hit song "Hectic" with recording artist, Hulvey.
Tj and I experienced many technical difficulties with our interview. We lost wifi twice and lost bits of our interview! On the other side, Tj's episode will encourage you that even if things don't go to plan, the end result can still be more than you could ever imagine.
