We talk about this amazing discovery journey together! Ana is not here to tell you who you are or who you are supposed to be. Instead, lshe is companion, your gentle guide, your fashion sherpa through the fashion landscapes of countless possibilities in this modern world we live in.

Ana and I talk about power colors and you  may think you don't look good in a certain color..girl, she says we look good in EVERY color.  A statement I am going to take to heart and start living outside my color comfort zone.  :) Love it!

Ana's formula for success is to work with the 3 highly important aspects: Comfort, Confidence and Convenience.

Comfort – you need to feel comfortable everywhere and anywhere. Comfort is important for your top performance in business and life. Everyone has their own definition and perception of comfort

Confidence – you need to feel confident to give people assurance. May it be your employees, coworkers, your clients or your life partner.  Assurance is one of the keys to successful relationships in business and in love not many people know about.

Convenience – your day has 24 hours only. You know very well how every minute counts. You have to be at your best all the time. The world is demanding and you want to keep up with it.  She can help you free yourself from time wasters and minimize decision fatigue even further.

E32 Wheels of Injustice-Saving my child from the child savers

    33:08

Hello lovelies!  On todays episode I speak to the beautiful Susan Gabriel.  Her unfathomable story of the "Wheels of Injustice".  Trying to save her child from the people the child savers.   Back in the 80's believe it or not, the lack of evidence and the word of someone who did not have any facts, convicted her husband of incest of her daughter! No physical evidence and judge wanting to throw the book at him and harass her as a woman who did not protect her child.  Even after all of this nightmare, the child savers still had control over visits of her daughter to integrate back into the family.  Years of this going on and fighting took its toll on Susan, of course, wanted it to end.  This was during the era of the "war on child abuse" in that time where they were told to FIND areas of abuse!  Laws are better, but this still occurs today. Please listen in as she tells her story and how incredible they are thriving today.  She has talked to many and even was invited on a task force to change these laws!  We need more people to go out and change the laws that are so archaic. Susan's experience drove her to the depths of despair at times, but ultimately, she overcame and her activism led to reformation of the system. Wheels of Injustice is the true story of one woman’s fight against a powerful system that’s run amok, grinding families into dust, obliterating Amendment protections, and taking revenge against anyone who attempts to reform it. Susan’s goal is to inspire others to live a life that’s present and active in this world, yet shaped by forces that lie beyond it.  Susan's book "Wheels of Injustice" can be found on Amazon.  Susan can be reached at  IG @susanlouisegabriel www.susanlouisegabriel.com Thank you Susan for sharing your story and so glad you and your family have thrived since this horrific ordeal. Hug your babies everyone!

    E31 Overcoming the Overwhelming

    54:21

On today's show I speak to the beautiful Natasha Ariyoshi, Certified Strategic LIfe Coach. Natasha is an example of even though you grow up in a loving household and a great childhood, you can fall into a lifestyle of "the wrong crowd".  Her journey of drinking and drugging and incarceration still was not enough to change, but looking at a 5 year prison sentence before committing to a treatment once again and for once followed through.  It has been 14 years!  So much love and respect for being clean and sober.  Truly an inspiration.  She put herself through college, worked as a counselor in treatment centers and now owns her own practice coaching women dealing with stress, burnout, anxiety and depression due to low self esteem and unhealthy boundaries.  The whole mess of things.  The messy parts. She breaks it down to the easiest steps to digest in a process to understand ourselves first..  Why we do what we do, why we want the things we want.    Getting past the place where you blame everyone but yourself to finally get to where you need to be is such a journey and one that Natasha went through and failed a few times but made it through and finally knew she was the problem, she was to blame.  She made a commitment to herself to change.   When things change inside you, things change around you.  in her own words- When you feel chaotic, broken and exhausted, your mindset is in survival mode, your body is in fight or flight = irritable, ache-y, feeling fragile inside and out.  we blame these external things for our pain (work, bills, obligations) but these things typically dont change and are out of your control.  YOUR HAPPINESS IS AN INSIDE JOB. So take your temperature and check yourself when you start getting too down on yourself and think and speak positivity into your life so that you can respond to things with love instead of reacting in panic. Make yourself a priority. Today and everyday I celebrate Natasha and how far she has come and how far she is still to travel!  If you want to work with Natasha, she can be found on IG msmental808 Reminder: You are free to be different.

    #29 Ditch The Mommy Guilt

    52:42

Welcome in beautiful!  On todays show I speak to the beautiful Kelly Ryan,  self proclaimed Nerd mom and founder of Nerd Mom Nutrition.  Kelly is busy helping nerd moms with young children who want the energy to love life and ditch the mommy guilt. I love this, we are all nerds and want to be superheros to our kiddos.  Kelly talks about how she found herself so exhausted and overwhelmed that one day as she yelled at her kids and they started crying she sat down and said, this is not OK and not what being a mom was supposed to be like.  She felt guilty.  A line in the sand was drawn at that point and she talks about how she knew she had to get her life back not only for herself but for her kids. So she decided to go back to the drawing board and look at everything from her diet, lifestyle and mindset. After making some changes she startied to feel much happier, more energetic and more like her wonderful nerdy quirky self!  There is no need for suffering, there is usually a solution. Many times food, mindset and lifestyle changes can help. Kelly's goal is to help as many busy nerd moms as possible get the energy to love life and ditch the mommy guilt just like she did. Look ladies and gents, we all feel it, we all have that mommy guilt or parent guilt, but take a step back and look at where you feel that guilt, are you taking care of you? Lets learn how feeling stressed (whether it's because kids are fighting, they refuse to eat meals, or other everyday stuff), not drinking enough water, not sleeping well, nor exercising can drain your energy leaving you feeling exhausted and certainly not loving life.   Kelly can help you so you can show your kids how you take care of yourself you can help them learn how to take care of themselves so they can live their best life.   Kelly can be found at: www.nerdmomnutrition.com facebook.com/NerdMomNutrition [email protected]   Thank you Kelly for showing us how to ditch the guilt and be better for ourselves and our children!

#28 Spirituality & Science-Understanding your body with Dr Goldstein

    58:11

Hi Lovelies!  On todays show I speak to Dr Serena Goldstein.  Neuropathic Doctor, writer and speaker. Dr. Serena Goldstein is Naturopathic Doctor who specializes in intuitively guided weight loss, and hormone balance, where she helps people trust what their body is saying so they can grow their inner knowing not just around health, but around their life path. Dr. Serena brings her 5 years of Naturopathic school (natural and conventional medicine), decade plus studies in psychology, and both personal and academic studies in spirituality and ancient medicine to gracefully infuse that bridge between science and spirituality to create individual plans for people so they can feel good, calm, and remain motivated throughout this journey. Dr. Serena has shared her expertise on outlets such as MindBodyGreen, Forbes, Shape.com, and Well + Good, appeared on numerous podcasts and radio shows, and both spoken and presented research posters at multiple professional conferences. It was so eye opening to hear about how everything in our bodies is connected.  We need to connect on all levels to heal.  Her logo is the Phoenix Rising which represents to her that there is more to life-aka bringing spirituality into medicine. We talk about setting boundaries and that as we are younger we dont know how or what the boundaries would look like but how so important it to set them, for yourself and your health. We laugh that being a doctor of hormones as she is, even she was shocked at certain things her body went through that shocked her ego.  We often dont understand what our bodies are telling us, the weight, they hormones or not quite feeling right.  Dr Serena really digs into all aspects of your life, not just hormone imbalance, she will dive into all areas of your life and not just give you a "quick fix" but really give you answers and how to listen to what your body is telling you.  This woman knows her stuff and takes your frustration and confusion out of figuring out how to take care of yourself. I love her so much, she is personable, funny and very down to earth.  If you want to talk to Dr Serena, she can be found at: www.drserenagoldstein.com Clubhouse = @drserena www.instagram.com/drserenag www.linkedin.com/in/drserenand www.facebook.com/drserenand

    #27 Acceptance and Grace

    31:48

Hi lovelies!  Thank you for tuning in!  On today's show I speak to Jennifer Chapman, an Indy native and Ball State graduate, she had a unique road to get here to where she is today.  Life challenged her first at 11 with the unexpected loss of her mom and again at 34.   After doing consistent work with a life coach herself to overcome the mental and emotional challenges internally, Jennifer shifted in 2020, during the pandemic no less! ) and found the passion and need to coach others through life’s challenges.  She created Just Commit Coaching and offers a 1:1 coaching program for people primarily in their 20s, 30s, 40s that want to find a way to accept and embrace the new version of themselves and how to move forward.  Jennifer has several published articles and is working on a collaboration with other women whose stories are meant to inspire others that will launch this fall. We all know that life challenges can bring us down and keep us small, its how you dig yourself back out of that pit and move forward.  Jennifer's coaching "just commit" is just that, commit...to yourself, to be better to be YOU.   When you listen to Jennifer and hear her story, you get this feeling of, I want to do what she did, the only thing holding you back is you, no one else.  Its a hard lesson to learn but it is creating those mind shifts everyday! I keep saying this and its so true after speaking to so many women, you are amazing and seeing how so many have overcome and been transformed is inspirational!  Lets inspire each other ladies!   Its always a good time to start.  Knowing if you are in a good place and having those boundaries and keeping negativity at bay is a good place to start, easier said than done, but you will notice a difference in your well being. I promise you, WE promise you. Jennifer is thriving through her recovery and helping so many others.  Overcoming the mental and emotional struggles everyday and giving herself grace.  Love this!  Listen to the show and hear her story. #25 Empowerment Self Defense

    47:05

Today I speak to Jackie of Queenrise.com  She is an Empowerment Self Defense for Women and Teens coach.  I apologize for the dead air at the beginning before Jackie came on, some editing software did not work at the time... Enjoy its all part of being organic podcast and going with the flow my friends! Jackie reminds us that we are in charge of our bodies and we know we already know this, but have you embodied that yet?  I love how she incorporates not only physical defense strategies but also teaches you that your body is yours and you are the QUEEN of it you are in charge and you get to decide what you want to do. I talk to her about what she gives her clients and she reminds us that self defense is a focus on paying attention to what is scary, trusting our intuition or "that voice" that tells us we may be in danger.  Lets strip away all the judgements we give ourselves based on outside expectations.   One of the things that stood our when talking to Jackie is when she mentioned that "Safe" is a low bar to set for women, she doesnt just want us to feel safe, she wants us to thrive to feel worthy of being pampered, spoiled of everything that gives us joy!  Self defense is just a piece of that puzzle. We are all Queens and anything less than that does not fit into the picture! Love this all so much!  When you think about it, we all try to be something for someone, we go where they want to go, we shave our legs for a date, we do our hair...because its a little expected, but are you doing this for the date or for YOU?  Think about it.   If you want to work with or speak to Jackie, she can be reached here: https://www.queenrise.com for the free guide: https://www.queenrise.com/guide FB Jackie Hyman IG @queenrisepower
