S4E18 - RBTP94: Lions Recap, Kenny Young Trade, Cam Akers Potential Return

    57:18

The Rams hosted the Lions this past weekend at SoFi, and it was packed with all of the incredible storylines that we mentioned in our previous episode. The Lions were able to get off to a very fast start, but the Rams' offense (led by Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp) proved to be far too much for the Lions to handle in the end. Additionally, we discussed the news on Goff's foot injury prior to the Super Bowl, Cooper Kupp's historic start, the Rams getting back to their traditional 11 personnel ways, the Kenny Young trade, and Cam Akers' potential return. S4E17 - RBTP93: Detroit Lions Preview, Rams Reunion Tour, Nick's Picks

    44:48

The Rams are hosting an 0-6 Detroit Lions team, but this isn't just any old 0-6 Detroit Lions team. For starters, it's a coming home party for four previous members of the Los Angeles Rams who left in the offseason: Jared Goff, Michael Brockers, Aubrey Pleasant, and Brad Holmes. It's also the first time that QB's Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff will be facing off against their former teams. There are so many storylines and question marks as to how this game will unfold, how players and coaches will interact with each other, and how receptive fans will be to Jared Goff and Michael Brockers coming back home to SoFi Stadium. Also included is a Stafford and Goff head to head comparison, reaction to McVay and Campbells's recent comments, and Nick also includes his picks for the week, where he mentions he will not be "betting the mortgage" again like he did last week. S4E16 - RBTP92: Rams Dismantle New York Giants, Warner's No-Look Comment, McVay's Early Struggles

    42:12

The Rams went into MetLife Stadium and dismantled the New York Giants, who've now fallen to 1-5 on the season. We discussed in our latest episode how the Giants had been bitten by the injury bug, as it continued to be the narrative throughout this game. WR Kadarius Toney limited off the field during the Giants' first offensive possession, and from there on out -- it was all Los Angeles Rams. Dene and Nick discussed the progression of Taylor Rapp and Robert Rochell, and why this was by far their easiest assignment of the year (but a necessary one). Also discussed is Kurt Warner's tweet on Matthew Stafford's no-look pass, Sean McVay's inability to break the game open early with scripted series, looking at what the Cardinals did against the Browns, and speculating on the on-field drama that will be happening next weekend at SoFi Stadium. S4E15 - RBTP91: New York Giants Preview, Nick's Picks

    50:55

The Rams head into MetLife Stadium to face the 1-4 Giants. The Giants were bit by the injury bug against the Dallas Cowboys last weekend, and now have to face the Rams without Saquon Barkley and Kenny Golladay. The Giants have found ways to lose games this year, and after their performance last year at SoFi, we were led to believe they were on the path to taking the next step. Dene and Nick dig into the Giants' poor play on the defensive line, the impact of Blake Martinez's injury, James Bradberry's massive regression, Kadarius Toney's meteoric rise, Andrew Thomas' status, and much more. Nick also continues riding his unorthodox betting tactics in the "Nick's Picks" segment of this episode. S4E14 - RBTP90: Defeating Seattle and the 12's, Upcoming Schedule, Nick's Picks

    45:25

The Rams were coming off of a tough loss to Arizona, and had to travel to Seattle to get back on track. They went into Seattle, were able to contain their offense, knocked Russell Wilson out of the game, and did enough offensively to come away with the win. Dene & Nick spend time trying to understand what happened with the offense through their first 4 series in this game, replayed Stafford's interception, evaluated Sean McVay's lack of aggression with first half play calls, and why the run game was so effective. Additionally, Dene & Nick dug into what makes Terrell Lewis so special, Aaron Donald becoming the all-time sack leader for the Rams, Rochell & Scott's contributions, and a struggling special teams unit. Nick also takes us through a difficult slate of bets this weekend, and why he believes introducing a "teaser" is his secret to success. The schedule ahead leaves the Rams with plenty of room to improve upon an already successful campaign (NYG, DET, HOU, TEN). Let's see how they handle it. S4E13 - RBTP89: Recapping the loss to Arizona, Full Seahawks Preview

    42:06

The Rams hosted a very talented Cardinals team over the weekend, and completely got knocked off their spot after an impressive win vs. Tampa Bay. The Cardinals offense was overwhelming for the Rams' defense to say the least, so Dene & Nick dug into why the Rams had such an issue containing Kyler when they've shown the ability to do so in the past. Also included is Raheem Morris' comments on David Long Jr.'s performance against Arizona, ways to improve the defense, Jalen Ramsey's ever-changing role, Aaron Donald's lowest pass-rush grade of his career, and how to bounce back against Seattle. Dene & Nick strongly believe that Seattle has all of the makings of a .500 football team, so it's going to be on the Rams to right the ship on Thursday night.

S4E12 - RBTP88: Rams Host Undefeated Cardinals, McVay's Ownership over Kingsbury, Nick's Picks

    50:12

The Rams play host to current MVP-favorite Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday afternoon, and are looking to increase their undefeated record since 2017 to 9-0. Dene and Nick dive into the 3-game sample size that Arizona has put out, including their deficiencies on the interior defensive line, injuries to three starting offensive lineman, and the addition of Quinton Dunbar. Jalen Ramsey's role is also further evaluated, as well as the Rams' defensive backs huge responsibility of covering the likes of A.J. Green, DeAndre Hopkins, Rondell Moore and Christian Kirk (who currently leads all receivers in yards from the slot). Nick has also been hot with his picks (going 4-1 last week) and looks to increase his overall win percentage to over 75%.

The Rams introduced Tom Brady to SoFi Stadium and beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 34-24. Dene and Nick look back at what they discussed during the game preview, Matthew Stafford's MVP start, how Stafford's 3-0 start has compared to others in the past, the Rams' defense under Raheem Morris compared to Brandon Staley's defense last year, and much more!
