On this episode we speak to the sister of Mary Tanner, Dr. Beth Goodwin and her continued fight for justice for the death of sister.


On the evening of July 7, 1978, 18-year-old Mary Ellen Tanner attended parties in a wooded section of Route 9 in Kennebunk and at the Kennebunk Beach.

Tanner left the Kennebunk Beach gathering in the company of friends and was dropped off at the intersection of Routes 9 and 35 in Kennebunk at approximately 11:30 pm. She indicated she was going to hitchhike home from that location.

On July 9, 1978, Tanner's body was discovered in Gracie Evans Field in Lyman. Several suspects have been interviewed, but her homicide remains unsolved.
