In today's episode we speak to Pete Moore, Managing Partner, DA - Dream Architect as he calls himself at HALO. He spent 20 years in the fitness and wellness sector and coined the trademark term HALO - Health, Active Lifestyle & Outdoors. Which has become rather common in the finance world as an umbrella term for everything health and fitness related. He's been in the trenches, he knows what it's like to not make payroll, to sweat and lose sleep at night. He published a new book called Time to Win Again. He says that “pressure is a privilege”.

We kick off this episode by asking Pete to walk us through his career, what has led him to this point and what the journey has been like:

  • I'm like you but now I’m helping you
  • Integrity Square
  • Brand promise and personal promise
  • HALO sector
  • The right finance groups, with the right entrepreneurs and the right ideas

We then asked Pete, where does he see you gain credibility, what is his why and when does he know someone is investable or not?

  • Rockstar people
  • Every company should have a uniform
  • If you do the little things, they mean way more than they think

We’ve been waiting to ask Pete this, why is pressure a privilege?

  • Use to be very hard on himself for failing
  • If you are not doing something important and you might fail, it's probably not that important
  • No idea what's on the other side
  • When you get success on the other side, you have earned it, it doesn’t happen to you by accident
  • Failure is like a badge of honor
  • Just get out there and win
  • Suck it up

Lastly, we ask Pete, how does he stay organised?

  • Google calendar
  • Colour code
