When you reheat last night’s leftovers, make sure phthalates are not your main ingredient. You are likely aware that certain chemicals used to manufacture various types of plastic are harmful for the environment and your health. They also mess with your metabolism. Even companies that don’t typically manufacture “green” products have been offering BPA and phthalate free items for some time but there are also other chemicals in plastics that are just as important to stay away from.

This year marks the 10-year anniversary of Plastic Free July. It began in Western Australia and has grown to over 3oo million participants around the globe. If you are concerned about climate change, implementing some of the tips I share in this episode will help you reduce your plastic use which will make a difference for our beautiful planet.
