It’s true, it’s damn true: the PensBurgh Podcast guest chair is filled once again. Brett Detar, lead singer of Pittsburgh’s own The Juliana Theory, joins the podcast to discuss a wide array of topics. This week, Brett, Garrett, and Robbie sat down to discuss the Pittsburgh Penguins’ recent games against the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Brett also took the time to answer some of our questions. We touched on things such as his introduction to the Penguins when he was a youngster, growing up and playing hockey with his buddies in his hometown, plus Brett gave his thoughts on the Penguins’ disappointing playoff run of 2020-21. Brett also shared a Mario Lemieux story that many diehard Penguins fans may be familiar with, but he has his own wrinkle to add to this legendary tale. If you’d like to see what Brett or The Juliana Theory are up to these days, you can follow Brett’s personal Twitter account here and follow The Juliana Theory’s Twitter page here.
