Pakistan's secret intelligence service, the ISI, has long been thought to support the Taliban through money, training, education, and weapons. Now, the ISI is being implicated, for good reason, in its role in the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan—or as Pakistan's prime minister put it, the Taliban "breaking the chains of slavery."
