KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • You do not have to be trying to achieve big goals to be able to benefit from taking steps to improve your mental and emotional health.
  • Mindset is crucial. Ed shares examples of how it has helped him and is helping his clients to enjoy a better life. Including succeeding in business.
  • Our thoughts create our feelings and govern how we behave. Good thoughts lead to good things.
  • Positive self-talk and meditation are effective, and they are both really easy for anyone to use.
  • You can keep your life on track or recover from any disaster by prioritizing the right things and focusing on them.
  • Don´t internalise trauma. It creates a tragic lifestyle.
  • Don´t dismiss tapping. It is incredibly powerful and effective. Especially for dealing with fear. Jeannette shares an example of how it helped her.
  • Don’t be afraid of failure. Monitor your businesses and be ready to pivot if things change and the business model no longer works.
  • When things go wrong maintain a positive attitude.
  • Make sure you have enough time for play as well as sleep, exercise, and work.
  • Focus on being the best you can be… the best spouse, friend, and sibling.
  • Don´t be judgemental. Do what you should be doing and let others live their lives as they want.
