S01E03 - Chacarera - Folklore and Popular Music as Productions of Social Discourses
On this episode we continue reflecting on some concepts from Irene López and, at the same time, we'll dive into the Chacarera. Another genre of the popular music in Argentina linked to musics from other regions and periods of time.
On this occasion, music will be the center of the episode, meaning that there will be longer sections with music sounding at full volume. In this way, I want to engage people with the music itself and use the more 'theoretical' discussion as a way in which we can reflect about the music that is sounding, and hopefully, will keep sounding on each person after the podcast.
